Man arrested for cutting baby’s penis

The State Criminal Investigation Department, Lagos State Police Command, has arrested a 27-year-old man, Lekan Adelaja, for allegedly cutting off the penis of his one-year-old nephew, Basheeru Akintoye.

The police also arrested one Obinwanne Onukwo who was accused of sending Adelaja to carry out the dastardly act.

PUNCH Metro had reported last week that Basheeru’s penis was cut off when his 20-year-old mother, Abidemi, went to a nearby house to have sex with one Fatai who was a friend to her husband.

Mother sells three-day-old baby for N260,000

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a nursing mother, Imaobong Udoh, for allegedly selling her three-day old baby girl.

Also arrested along with Imaobong were four persons for allegedly participating in the theft of the baby.

They are the buyer, Mrs. Regina James; her husband, Mfon James; the traditional birth attendant who delivered the baby, Mrs. Comfort Henry; and Mr Emmanuel Okon, a homeopathic doctor, who arranged the sale.

Popular Fuji Musician, Obesere, Arrested For Alleged Rape - PREMIUM TIMES

The police in Lagos have arrested a popular Fuji musician,  Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere, for allegedly raping a 29-year-old businesswoman, Olanike Olaiya, the Vanguard newspaper  is reporting this morning.

Ms. Olanike said the musician raped her in his Okota residence, Lagos. But Obesere, according to the report, is insisting that Ms. Olanike was his lover and that they had sex as consenting adults.

According to the report, Ms. Olaiya, a  National Diploma graduate of business administration from Ibadan Polytechnic, told the police that she knew Obesere through one of her friends, a certain Bola Okoro.

Man Accused Of Killing Banker Wife Is Sentenced To Death In Lagos

Ayo Arowolo, a Nigerian man accused of killing his banker wife on  June 24th 2011 has been sentenced to death by a Lagos high court.

Presiding judge, Lateefat Okunnu held that Mr. Arowolo was guilty of murder and ruled that he should be sent to the gallows.

In a long judgment lasting more than two and half hours, presiding judge ruled that Ayo was guilty of killing his wife Mrs. Omozodje Arowolo.

The judge, Mrs. Lateefat Okunnu relied on testimonies and evidences of fifteen witnesses including family members of the deceased, investigating police officers, photographers and Chief pathologist of Lagos State to make her judgment.

Mr. Arowolo broke down in the dock during the judgment and said many times while being taken away that he would not die of the judgment. 

He shouted "Jesus Christ, I cannot die" many times as he was led away by prison warders.

The 30-year-old Mexican-born star looked breathtakingly gorgeous in an array of flattering outfits in a photo spread for DuJour Magazine's Winter 2013 issue.

Lupita told the magazine about her unique upbringing and her role in 12 Years a slave. She told the magazine how surprised she is at how much attention she has been receiving.

'My life changed about three weeks ago,' she said. 'That’s when my schedule went from nil to this.

On auditioning for her 12 Years a Slave role, the actress never thought she would get it. 'When I learned Steve McQueen was directing and Brad Pitt was producing, I thought, Well, this is huge.

'I had no expectation of getting the role at all; it was just too out there for me to think I had a chance.

'So I approached the audition like a rehearsal. It was my chance to have that role for 10 minutes, and I owned it. Then I got the part and the panic began.'

Blind woman endured 416 hours of pain covering her body in tattoos (Photos)

An ink-addicted woman has spent 416 hours covering her entire body in tattoos, despite the fact she will never see them because she is blind. DailyMail reports.

Fran Atkinson has spent the last three years having a colourful ‘body suit’ inked on to her with no idea what it looks like. 

But the mother-of-one, from Rhyl, says her husband, Ron, and tattoo artist Grez Bowman have acted as her eyes, describing details of the intricate artwork from her neck down to her ankles.
